Welcome to the 'T2' Formula 3 two seater
site. We are extremely fortunate
to have this beautiful piece of machinery
in New Zealand as there are only two 2
seater F3 cars in the world.
Those fortunate enough to experience
a ride in the T2 will appreciate a whole
new understanding of the G forces produced
by a real race car. A ride in the
T2 car is NOT for the faint hearted, this
is an adrenaline pumping action filled
ride likened closely to a flight in an
F18 aircfraft. Watching any formula
car race in the future will take on a
whole new meaning. Co-pilots will
experience forces in excess of 3G, under
brakes and whilst cornering, their hearts
will be in their mouths as they accelerate
away from 0-100 in just 3.8 seconds.
The T2 is unique; there are very few
opportunities to experience such an unforgettable
journey, a ride in t2 is only available
through our commercial partners or through
a promotion, competition or similar. Individual
rides will only be made available through
these channels. We can provide you our
naming rights partner, and associate partners
ride day promotional schedules. There
may be times when rides are available
to purchase in conjunction with our marketing
partners; these rides are not for the
budget conscious, t2 is expensive to run,
there are 2, 3 and 4 lap options available
as an indication 4 laps of Pukekohe park
raceway in t2 costs $750.00
Because of the nature of the seating arrangement in T2 there are some limitations to size when it comes to fitting into the co pilots seat .People over 100kg, people over 1.850cm or people with long legs or large thighs will find difficulty in physically fitting into the seating area - however if you can fit you can ride. We do suggest that if you fall into one of the categories, and feel you could be marginal, you should visit our workshop and test the seating arrangement. We strongly recommend to anyone that suffers a heart condition that they consult with their physician before they ride, as this is the real thing, this ride is not for the faint hearted. We provide all of the necessary safety equipment along with light refreshments during the course of the day. All co pilots will receive a certificate of participation. Photo opportunities with the car and driver are available to all. The actual rides can be 2/3/or four laps dependent on investment--- and yes, there is a panic button for those who find it all a bit much. All passengers that ride in T2 do so at their own risk, and shall sign an indemnity form absolving any person from any responsibility in the unlikely event of an accident.
